Have you ever been on the dating circuit and have been shot down more than once?  Well, have no fear, we’ve all been on the same boat.  One interesting option nowadays is to get a mail order bride from Russia.  As we all know, Russian women are considered as some of the most beautiful women in the world.   Not only are they beautiful when they’re young, but they age gracefully and will more than likely remain beautiful long after you’ve aged like a prune and she’ll still stay with you.

Dating Russian women may seem daunting at first with all the hassles of getting an introduction or going through an agency to look for that perfect partner.  Still, it’s a pretty novel idea, exchanging letters or email, that long distance courtship that has all but died out in today’s fast-paced single-serving lifestyle.  I guess I’m a hopeless romantic if I believe that across the thousands of miles of oceans between Russia and where I live that there’s also a kindred spirit looking out towards my direction and having the same dreams as I do about finding true love.

You’re probably asking yourself, “If I can’t find a partner here, why should it be easier overseas?” Well, the simple answer to that would be because these Russian women are looking for the same thing you are, and that their priorities are more in tune to security and family building as opposed to career building like most westernized women.  Forgive me for being so blunt but standards over there are a lot lower than what most women here are accustomed to.  This is not in any way a sleight against the women here but rather a very good comparison between the security offered by our male counterparts over there in Russia.  Even though we’re not a CEO or a president of a multinational company, what we earn here as a middle-class citizen is more than what the average working class male in Russia will make and that is the trump card we hold over our counterparts overseas.

Keep in mind though that you will be looking for a partner and not a plaything.  Don’t expect centerfold-looking Russian women to fall in love with you after one or two letters (if they do, then you should be really careful).  Take it slow and try to appreciate the journey of falling in love all over again, as these women are also looking for love.  Don’t rush things, it will usually take a while for letters to travel back and forth or emails to get answered so be patient.  You can even exchange mails with multiple Russian women (just don’t let them find out) so you can get multiple conversations going and see which one is the right one for you.

Don’t expect to get it right the first time though, keep trying, and remember that you don’t rush into love and that whirlwind romances will usually end the way they started, fast and hard.
